Open Heart Behavior Service is proud to launch “The Center” located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
“The Center” is a Supported Community Connections Day Program for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities.
What is it?
The Center is a dedicated third space designed for adults with disabilities who may not yet have the skills or confidence to fully access or engage with the broader community. It's a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can build independence, social connection, and life skills at their own pace.
At The Center, we offer structured learning opportunities, mentorship, meaningful engagement, and—just as importantly—fun. Whether someone is working on communication, daily living tasks, community readiness, or simply connecting with peers, The Center is a place where growth is encouraged, supported, and celebrated.
Our goal is to meet each person where they are and provide the support they need to thrive—both within our space and beyond it.
How to find us
The Center is located in the BACK of the Erindale Square shopping complex at 5975 N. Academy Blvd just north of Vickers Drive. Enter the plaza near the Sonic Fast Food Restaurant where you will see the Treehouse Cafe on the Northwest corner of the building. Make an immediate left hand turn towards the Academy Driving School and follow the road around to the backside of the building where you will find us located at Suite 109.
